Danny Kavadlo Diamond Cut Abs BookMy inbox has been overflowing.

People email me about abs more than anything else… more than tattoos or even human flag! It’s no surprise. Abs fascinate us on a cultural level. Always have. In fact, even those who don’t work out are often obsessed with abs. Abs are everywhere in pop culture, from billboards to music videos. Magazine covers to TV commercials. Abs all day, every day.

The questions I get asked often require long answers. While I do my best to reply as detailed as possible, a subject like “what I eat” cannot be properly addressed in a Facebook message. That’s why I had to write Diamond-Cut Abs! It’s also why I included a chapter specifically titled What I Eat. People want to know what exercises they can start with. How to design a program. They want to know what workouts I did back in the day, as well as what I currently do now. It’s all here!

I also made sure to include exercises for men and women of all fitness levels and body types. This book has all my answers to these and many more questions. As a matter of fact, DCA is just about everything I have to say about abs. This is the raw uncut. The real deal. There is a lot of conflicting information out there. Read this book and find out exactly where I stand.

As much as it’s about exercise and nutrition, DIAMOND-CUT ABS is also a book about lifestyle, balance and harmony: a philosophical (as well as physical) approach to achieving the rock hard six-pack of your dreams. You have to buy this book!

Diamond-Cut Abs is also by far my most personal work to date. It meant a lot to me to be able to open up to you. I tell of my journey through life (and abs) starting as a kid in Brooklyn doing sit-ups and watching Incredible Hulk reruns, to who you see before you today (whatever that is!) I tell you how I trained every step of the way.

The Bible of Abs 🙂 Thank you Danny.

    • dannykavadlo

      Hey Kishore,
Thank you my friend for the kind words! I know you’ve been waiting for this for a long time and it means a lot to me to read what you wrote. “Bible of Abs”… I like the sound of that!

  • martymonster

    Hi Danny,

Got the book, love the book. It really shines with your personality. The photo of you in a top hat gesturing like Mandrake the Magician while your lovely assistant Grace levitates into an elbow lever was worth the cost of admission alone.

I’m glad to see you devoted a fair amount to the kitchen and to life in general. Abs are built in the kitchen for sure. The life stuff was a good inclusion to get people to think that maybe the Abs obsession needs to be tempered with enjoyment. I also liked how you reminded people to enjoy the training, to be in the moment.

I thought the exercise selections were very comprehensive and appropriately split into ability ranges. I think they should give anyone in the beginner to advanced range a very good workout.

The lovely assistant in that shot is actually Adrienne Harvey:)

  • This is a super fun book, honored to be included in the photos!! 🙂

  • FINALLY!!!

The world’s number-one abs guy literally writes the book on the subject! This manual is now one of my most prized calisthenics/training textbooks, PERIOD…no steroids, no supps, no screwy diets, no sissified moves, just 100% hardcore, brutal genius! And it’s a hoot, too. It was an amazing honor to be one of the few to get an advance copy, ages ago.

I also get a shit ton of questions about abs and you have saved me a LOT of time, Danny. I now just refer athletes to this masterpiece, coz you say it all better than I could.

    Exciting times for bodyweight…

    • DALE

hi Coach Wade — you highly recommended Danny’s Abs ebook to me back when your C-Mass ebook came out. as with your books and Al’s, i have bought both the pdf and kindle versions so they are always available to refer back to. i have started

reading it. i am sure i will be highlighting a lot of the book. i might as well just highlight the whole book when Coach Wade release one. abs is one area i need to work on a lot. Danny should take his humor on the road which he has with the PCC certifications. Danny – keep the awesome books coming !!!!! we now have the triple threat for bodyweight training ….. Coach, Al, and Danny !!!!

      • You are so right on all points Dale my man! And yeah, Danny looks like such a scary badass in his photos but in fact the guy has the soul of a comedy genius.

        • dannykavadlo

Again, Coach, you are too kind.

      • dannykavadlo

        Hey Dale,
Thanks for the support amigo! I’m glad you dig the humor. None of us should take ourselves too seriously all the time. Keep on fighting the good fight!

    • dannykavadlo

Wow! Thanks Coach! It’s an honor to have your endorsement! Exciting times indeed!

  • Clive Burns

Nicely summed up Coach. Abs-solution = eat real food and train like Danny (& Al) Kavadlo.

    • dannykavadlo

YEAH!!!!! Right on Clive! Simple stuff.

  • Karen Lee

Sounds perfect. I’m starting to rethink my love of paperback, my book can’t come too soon! Congratulations, Danny!

    • dannykavadlo

      Thanks Karen,
I as well am a big fan of the printed page. And TRUST ME, this book is one that you’ll want to see in all its visual splendor!

  • Allisha – NYC PFT

Ordered my copy already Danny! Cannot wait! And, congrats to you on the book’s success!

    • dannykavadlo

Thanks Allisha! Let me know what you think when it arrives! Thanks!

  • Mika

Really solid and field-stripped information. Everybody ought to read this book, aswell as many other books from dragondoor. Bought this on e-book a few days ago, like I have bought the other ones from DD.

Would really like to order them on paperback, but (Big John, this is for you) the international shipping rates are absurd when ordering multiple books. For three books in my cart, á $40, so $120 in total, the shipping was $75 in addition to that!!

Sorry for “the rant” but I feel it had to be said. Absolutely loving the material dragondoor releases, including this book!

    Keep up the good work.

    • dannykavadlo

      Hey Mika,
I’m glad you like the book! It came straight from the heart. Thanks for the kind words!

    • Jari

      Amazon has friendlier shipping rates.

  • Hey Danny,

I’ve read your book and I think it’s awesome. I couldn’t put it down after I picked it up because so much of it clicked with me.

Thanks for writing a book full of earnest content. I especially loved the juice recipes!

    • dannykavadlo

      Hi Silvio,
Thank you man! That’s a huge compliment. I had to write this book. I am so glad it clicked for you. Post a nice review for me, will ya? Thanks!

      • Done! Left you the first review on the german Amazon page of your book. I hope you’re not done writing books after this one.

  • Les Gross

    Hi Danny,
Just bought the e-book (cash is tight at the moment). Loving it so far, and I’m especially loving the nutrition section. Far too many people in this world are oblivious to the fact that humans are “designed” to be hungry. I started my journey to better health and strength almost a year ago, and allowing my body to be hungry every once in a while helped me shed 35 lbs of useless fat and build, yes build, 15 or 20 pounds of solid muscle. It’s sad that so many fitness “experts” and bodybuilders have convinced the world that being hungry, or avoiding carb-dense foods- specifically grains, for even a few hours will melt the muscle right off their bones. It’s utterly false. I see the results of this kind of living whenever I look in a mirror, and I hear about it when my girlfriend or other people that I know compliment me on my improving physique.

Awesome book, I hope to read many more from you!

    • dannykavadlo

Hey Les, thanks for contributing. It’s amazing how many people have no problem stuffing themselves every day but bug out if they’re hungry for an hour. Glad you enjoyed the book!

  • 囚徒健身

hello,i am a chinese.one of my friends buy this book, it’s a good book. Just like c-mass, we learn a lot from them.

    • dannykavadlo

Thanks so much for your comment. It’s huge compliment to me that you’re reading these books on the other side of the world. Keep the dream alive!

  • Jakub

    Hello Danny,
I just finished your “cool” book 🙂 I have one question
to workouts. You give us two sets of exercises for each experience
level. And for one training we do only one sets from this two right? And
we switch sets from time to time to not get bored right?

    Best Regards
